|There is enough confusion that a serious devotee has to encounter when he
attempts to organize a Chandi Homam in ancient Temple precincts, where the worship is performed
according to Agama Sastras. There appear to be grey areas while talking about Sivaagni,
Vaidikaagni, Laukikaagni etc., and performance of popular Homams like Chandi Homam,
Rudra Homam etc., in the Temple premises where Sivaagni is prescribed.
After detailed interactions with Resource Persons in the fields of Saakta Practices, Vaidika Prayogas and Aagama Sastras, a methodolgy has been evolved to organize and perform Chandi Homam in Sivaagni, raised according to Aagamas. The same was also performed in an ancient Temple and accepted by all. That procedure has been described in detail in this book.

|12. Book Code G101. GRANTHAM PRIMER, III Edition, 02-10-2006. 48 Pages. Rs. 15.|
| This book is an attempt to assist self-learning of Grantha lipi by those who
are interested in continuing the glorious tradition of Southern India, which preserved the Vedas
for generations through Granthakshara. Granthaksharas are introduced with the help of Tamil,
Devanagari and I.P.A. English characters (I.P.A. - International Phonetic Alphabet, which is
the style in which we find Vedic texts are printed for use by foreigners).
There is a noble cross section of current day asthikas, who strive to uphold, cherish and promote our glorious heritage, tradition and culture by learning grantham so that they can study vedic literature with pronunciation that is closer to the way they were handed down to us by sages. Granthaksharas have been found to be better suited for recording Vedas even as compared to Devanagari lipi. Many grantham manuscripts, palm leaves and printed books are available with many families and in many libraries, archives and museums. To understand their contents, as well as to research over them, a working knowledge of granthaksharas is indispensable. This book can be used as a hand-holder when we start slowly reading grantha books of mantras, stothras, slokas etc.
This book is a pioneering venture. We hope that this may herald the release of a few veda books in grantha lipi, using modern computerised type-setting technology.

|15. ARTHAMULLA VIVAHAM / SHASHTIABDAPOORTHI RITUALS NO STOCK|
|This book has been exahustively enlarged and published with the Title "VIVAAHANGAL"|
|16. Book Code G104. VIVAAHANGAL (Tamil) - I Edition, 29-01-2006. 192 Pages. Rs. 50.|
| This book is a largely expanded sequeal to our earlier popular publication
on this subject, namely, ARTHAMULLA VIVAHAM & SHASHTIABDAPURTHI RITUALS, which was designed
to answer the many queries that the youth of today pose to us on the eve of their marriage.
Listing all the rituals that are performed during a marriage ceremony and briefly attempting
to describe the meaning behind them, this book attempts to interest the serious reader
into the various aspects of the once-in-a-lifetime function in which he/she is going to
become the star. This amply enlarged new title [VIVAAHANGAL] deals with the marriage rituals
of not only vedoktha ceremonies conducted by brahmins, but also kalpoktha marriages
getting conducted by others ... i.e., those who perform marriages in the simple
way without reciting vedic mantras. An Annexure has the Mantras for Vedic marriage rituals.
Also, ancient instructions (vidhi - rules) to conduct marriages by reciting slokas
instead of vedic mantras has also been obtained and printed as an Annexure.
The various rituals performed in such marriages have also been listed and explained.
For those who prefer to get the rituals performed with ancient Tamil songs instead of
Sanskrit slokas, a compilation of 116 Tamil songs have been compiled along with their
contextual usage. Typical lists of marriage rituals in respect of some four communities
viz., Nagarathu Chettiars, Pillaimars, Naidumars and Mudaliars have been obtained and included
as typical examples of kalpokta marriage ceremonies.
Later sections of the book also briefly touch upon other functions that one celebrates in his lifetime viz... Shashtiabdapoorthi, Sathabhishekham, Poornabhishekham, Ugra-ratha santhi, Bhima-ratha santhi and Vijay-ratha Santhi.

Sri VISHNU SAHASRANAMA STHOTHRAM I Edition, 14-01-2002. 48 Pages. Rs. 5.
(in Tamil-Grantha Lipi)
|Tamil language and pure Tamil literature do not require the characters that
are found in other Indian languages which represent four different pronunciations for
Ka, Cha, Ta, Tha and Pa. Similarly a few more characters are also not needed unless,
we attempt to properly print in Tamil, literature from other languages.
This thought has prompted us in developing a new computerised lipi, synthesizing Tamil and Grantham characters. Grantha lipi has lent a few charcters to represent sounds for which Tamil lipi has no character-form, thereby enriching the Tamil language and enabling it to accept literature from all over, as transliteration. This book is a trial production in Tamil-Grantha lipi.
Compiled by Vedacharya Sri Paruthiyur R.Srinivasa Sastrigal, this book contains: Guru Sthuthi, Sri Ganesa Pancharatnam, Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Sthothram, Purusha Sooktham, Dwadasa Nama Panjara Sthothram and Anjaneya Sthuthi.

| This book contains Sri Ramar Sahasra Namavali, Sri Ramar Ashtotharam,
Sri Sita Ashtotharam and Sri Anjaneyar Ashtotharam.
The Sahasranamavali is a compilation of Namas picked from Valmiki Ramayanam itself. This Namavali was (and continues to be) in preferential usage during Ramayana Parayanams, especially in the Thanjavur belt of TamilNadu. This was so far available only in manuscript form. Perhaps this booklet is the first to take the Namavali to all in printed form.
Similarly, the Ramar Ashtotharam also has been printed from one such manuscript. The namas have been chosen from the first sarga of Ayodhya Kanda of Valmiki Ramayana itself. In this sargam, through the utterings of King Dasaratha, Valmiki describes the various good qualities of Sri Rama. Therefore, if this Namavali is used and heard by devotees, definitely it should influence the charcter-building of the devotees. Meaning of these 108 namas has been printed in this booklet to assist the devotees in understanding the namas better.

(Sama Veda Mantras , or Sama Ganams, or Sama Vedic Verses or Poems) in print, using Tamil lipi.
In addition to the usual difficulties encountered to bring out different pronunciational
nuances using Tamil characters, another challenge we have to face in printing Sama Vedam is
its SWARA MARKINGs! With great difficulty and perseverance, the swaras have been marked
in this book, to the satisfaction of Sama Vedic Scholars, and in that, perhaps, this book
can be considered as a pioneering venture.
For this book, more than 120 SAMAMs that are usually chanted during Udaka Santi, Aupasanam, Pratisaram, Anguram etc., have been selected, in addition to Sama Veda Rudra Namakam-Chamakam, Purusha Sooktam, SriSooktam, Pancha Santhi and Asirvadam.
Nearly one-third of the pages of this book is dedicated to a Write-Up, which gives essential aspects of Sama Vedam to the common man, so that the Gruhasthas belonging to the Sama Vedic sub-sect can have an idea about their Sakha.
